Mike Ratcliffe fundou a Wine Business Advisors em 2016 e desde então aplicou com sucesso sua ampla experiência para aconselhar mais de 50 clientes em todo o mundo. Mike foi diretor administrativo de 1,4 milhão de garrafas da Warwick Estate por cerca de duas décadas antes de sair para a Eileses, empresa de capital de risco do Vale do Silício, sediada na Califórnia. Mike co-fundou a joint venture dos EUA e da África do Sul Vilafonté, que foi recentemente nomeada como 'Excelente produtor do ano' da IWSC 2021. Mike foi nomeado para o Wine Enthusiast 'Wine Star' Award para Global Innovator of the Year em 2015 e novamente em 2017.

Enquanto estudava economia na Universidade de Stellenbosch, Roland descobriu o gosto pelo vinho e desde então está imerso na indústria. Tendo dirigido Wine Cellar por 15 anos, ele lançou o primeiro produto de investimento em vinho da África do Sul e co-fundou os Leilões de Vinhos Finos Strauss & Co. Negócios internacionais, estudos e viagens contribuíram para uma visão profunda do mundo do vinho. Em 2021, a Roland uniu forças com Mike Ratcliffe como CEO da Wine Business Advisors no final de 2021.
